It can’t be a dead end,  because SOLAS state there have to be two avenues of exit from every cabin.  It’s one of the reasons some classic ships, particularly QE2, could not be updated to meet code in an economic manner.  EM

There's a door at the end of the hall - there may be some noise from that.
