Beach rec?

First time for us (two couples in our 60’s), and we have a private island tour lined-up with one of the excellent independent guides. We have ~11 hrs in port and hope the Weather gods cooperate so we can enjoy 3 - 4 hrs on a nice beach after 😎

We’d like to be away from the busiest beach spots, but we will want lounges, drinks, and restrooms so that limits our options. I wish we could just lay on a towel on a gorgeous beach with no amenities, but the girls prefer some amenities, of course!

If familiar with Tortola, Smuggler’s Cove would be our choice… Food & drinks from Miss Patricia, porta potty and used lounges on a gorgeous beach!

Any and all suggestions are appreciated!

TIA 🙏

Okay, used to suggest Plywood, but it received a poor critique, but others have praised it, so one’s recommendation is under review, to await a personal visit.

However, it appears Kalinago has received acceptable reviews, as being to more attuned to the American market.

One has used Calabash Cove Hotel as a day pass with friends… A nice genteel place.  The pass is for use of beds and facilities only.  There is a strict dress code and the venue invites day guests to make a reservation for (also take) lunch when booking a Day Pass.

Note to self… Beds are allocated on arrival, but the resident Hotel Guests do, quite correctly, have first options on the best positions.  There is no (pointing) negotiation, maybe a polite move request will be accepted.

Also, there is a code of conduct, and if any Day Pass visitors are considered to offend or annoy any Residents/Guests the miscreants are invited to leave.

How can one say politely this?   It’s not a grab a bed, a couple of drinks and let off steam establishment.   Think “Cunard Grills”  ambience of twenty years ago.
