qqq266 Posted Tuesday at 05:30 AM #4 Share Posted Tuesday at 05:30 AM We went to Viet Nam on a land tour in January 2023. We made all of our reservations with one travel agency based in Ha Noi. Everything worked out very well. We are going back in January 2025 on the NCL Spirit with port stops at Phu My and Nha Trang. I reached out to the same travel agency and was put in contact with a colleague based in Sai Gon AKA Ho Chi Minh City. I am working with her to arrange a private tour from Phu My to Vung Tau. Our port stop is not overnight. Therefore, we do not want to go all the way to Sai Gon. I can shared her contact information if anyone is interested. As mentioned in the Cruise Port Wiki that geminiNZ shared, a permit fee (~$35USD/passenger) is charged for privately arranged drivers to pick up cruise ship passengers. Consequently, we have been advised to find our way out of the ports to meet the driver outside the gates. I am hoping there is a shuttle as also mentioned in the Wiki. Our other port is Nha Trang. From what I have gathered, we should be able to walk out within 15 minutes.
