July morning Posted August 24 #1 Share Posted August 24 We are thinking of going on FO to the Azores at the end of October. I was certain I seen a post from someone mentioning these islands and just wondered if it was worth a visit otherwise we'll look to go on the following cruise to the Canaries which we've been to on different cruise lines. Really we're just wanting the possibility of some sunshine before winter sets in! Not really bothered about where we go as long as we can leave from Liverpool/Newcastle don't want to travel to Southampton.

I love the Azores, first went for work about 50 years ago, went back with FO last year and we’re booked to return next year with FO. But you must realise that the islands are almost mid-North Atlantic so they are not hot & sunny like the Canaries. The weather can be warm and sunny but that’s a bonus.
