I searched and couldn't determine when Black Friday takes place.  Appreciate your time and response.

Black Friday is the day after the US Thanksgiving Day. Typically the last Friday in November. However, last year, the sale started at least a few days ahead of time. If I remember right it was actually the Friday before so about a week.

Thanks all.  I was hoping it was a different day...sort of like Prime Day.  Our cruise starts before so I can't use it for this one.  But we will be on Celebrity on 1/4/25...maybe I can get some discounts for that cruise.

Honestly, I thought deals last year were underwhelming and I regretted I waited on a couple of cruises because Black Friday price ended up being higher.

My notes show last year Black Friday started 11/9/23 (very early).  Cyber Monday started 11/27/23.  Black Friday started 11/21/22 with Cyber Monday being 11/28/22.  It was 11/22/21 for Black Friday and 11/29/21 for Cyber Monday.  In 2020 they had a really good veterans day sale 11/11/20, with Black Friday starting 11/23/20 and Cyber Monday 11/30/20.  So, not sure what will happen in 2024....

I will add that they do change some of the prices on certain things each day.  I remember one year the price Saturday was better on an excursion than on the Friday.  As some mentioned, some BF "sales" prices were no better than the normal sales prices last year.  Will be interesting to see what happens this year.

Yes, Deals/Sales are generally better when Royal Bookings are slow, like post 9/11 when get a Cruise for $9each plus Port or During CV when they needed the cash and I was Booking Cruises for $40-50 a day in a Balcony Cabin Solo. Veterans Discounts same where use to be 6 months out to fill slow selling Cabins, but few months ago Jewel sailing Feb-Apr2025 was selling slow so saved another $2800 on 4 Booked Cruises. Bookings slow by Black Friday they will be better Discounts

Do the BF and CM sales provide good discounts towards drink packages? I'm sailing on January and have been planning to buy our drink packages (non-alcoholic) during the month of November.

Depends on your definition of good - there might be some discount.

I'm hoping and waiting for the National Pasta Day sale so that I can take advantage of the Specialty Restaurants discounts.

I've gotten some great deals on the internet pkg. I usually purchase them then for all the booked cruises I have...and will do so for my 2025 & 2026 bookings that are available.

Post 9/11 and CV they were begging us to cruise (which we did) and like you said, almost giving them away.  But I don’t want any sale for either of those reasons…☹️

As others have mentioned, it often starts earlier in the week of Thanksgiving, but I've never seen it earlier than that, so it looks like you're out of luck for your next Royal cruise. Definitely check out the Celebrity offerings for your January cruise, though! In my experience, some of the sales are a bit of a nothingburger, but I've snagged a couple of real bargains in the past.

It actually started way before that.  Looking back at my purchase history I see scads of purchases I made on 11/9/23 which would have been the day the Black Friday sale began.

Wow! I stand corrected.  Possibly good news for the OP. 🙂 Not that I'm the one you're quoting, but I said much the same thing. I guess that goes to show how reliable my aging memory is becoming ... 😉

I haven't cruised Royal Caribbean in awhile the deluxe beverage is $69.95. What is the lowest price that you have seen in the past?

This might be a silly question but I've booked the DBP for my two upcoming cruises.  I waited to book it at 72.99 which was the lowest after following for a month or so.

When I look on my cruises for the current pricing, it just says "reserved" at the price I booked it for.  How do I see if the pricing for my current sailings is lower or higher?

Same.  I have a number of them on 11-8-23 last year

Compliments of the IT glitch.

With the number of glitches within their IT department, I'm surprised we haven't seen more of these special offers.
