Sunshine Bob Posted November 29 #1 Posted November 29 (edited) On Arvia in January and been allocated an accessible cabin , but we able bodied and did not book it. The (sea view) cabin looks much bigger than a standard sea view but unsure if its something others would recommend. Please feel free to pass on any thoughts. Edited November 29 by Sunshine Bob
terrierjohn Posted November 29 #2 Posted November 29 Probably because there are fewer accessible passengers flying then there are cabins. As an accessible cabin user I would accept the cabin without hesitation, they are up to 50% wider than normal and have everything the standard cabins have. Only difference is the shower has a curtain, but it's a much bigger area so does not try to wrap itself around you, and all the doors are automatic, which are slow and you find yourself waiting in the corridor for it to close. Enjoy your cruise.

Hi rob I was allocated a accessable (inside) cabin on Arvia & didn't need or request it I Went to customer service before I unpacked in case anyone else needed it Was advised that is what I have been allocated & couldn't move ! (I wasn't asking to move I was concerned if a disabled person needed it ) So I stayed in allocated cabin all week. Cabin was lovely & bigger than normal inside cabin Hope that helps?
