travelgirl87 Posted June 26, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 26, 2004 Hey there. Has anyone visited the Gold Rush National Historic Park in Skagway recently? How much time should we allot there for the history buffs in our group and how much for the average sightseers in the crowd? I have a brochure about the Park but am having a hard time reading between the lines of travelese to figure out what there really is to see. Many thanks for your input. Budget Queen Posted June 26, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 26, 2004 The movie is less than an hour, the museum can be seen in 30 minutes- without being intense. :) The walking tours - are all different depending on the ranger but are less than an hour. There is also a cabin farther in town to take a look at - 15 min. walk through. But for the ones wanting more time- leave them and meet back in an hour. :)
