fishface914 Posted July 27, 2006 #1 Share Posted July 27, 2006 I am looking for more information on the waterpark on DePalm Island. Is it open? What is the best way to get there. Is it worth going to with young children? Any info would be great. We leave on Sunday.
25dbb Posted July 28, 2006 #2 Share Posted July 28, 2006 Are you going on Adventure?? We are too....and we called DePalm Island yesterday and they say the only way you can go to DePalm is by a cruise ship excursion. We called RCCL and it's too late to book one, not until we're on the ship. The DePalm island people said the water park was recently completed and is included in your excursion. We called them back because RCCL couldn't give us that info. We're not sure if we're going to do this excursion or just take the public bus to Palm Beach and swim for the day. dbb25
stprdi Posted September 14, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 14, 2006 There were lots of kids there the day we went (Aug. 25). I really only took notice of the slide but overall there was a fairly large area so must have been other things too. From all the laughing etc. it must have been fun.!! Arubalisa Posted September 14, 2006 #4 Share Posted September 14, 2006 Try contacting Depalm again. Do not "volunteer" that you are arriving via cruise ship. Inquire about their "Passport to Paradise" package. It is possible it is not being offered anymore, this had always been a half or whole day package which you could purchase. Includes ferry to the island, use of the facilities on the island and food and beverage.
cdnliving Posted September 28, 2006 #5 Share Posted September 28, 2006 I can't seem to find any information other than it's completion scheduled for 2006 - Is it done yet? If so, does anyone have a recent link. Thanks.
