Just back from Enchantment, anyone have questions.........

Recommended Posts

Hmm - where to start ;) Favorite shipboard activity? Best bar? Best quiet place on ship for reading? Any suggestions for which night to eat at Chops?

We sail in Sept and I can't wait. Any response you have would be greatly appreciated. Hope you had a great trip.

I am not a big eater, so don't really count that one. LOL I'm more of a soup eater. And I HATED their soups.

I didn't go to the bars, so I can't answer too many of those type of questions. I had kids with me.

I found a few quiet places to sit outside of deck 5. They had alot of lawn chairs and such out there to just sit and enjoy the water.

Schooner bar...piano player....have no clue!!! Sorry. I was there, but didn't catch his name.

There were alot of kids in both pools with swimmies and diapers on. That sort of irritated me, b/c my kids were in the pool also, and I didn't want them getting sick if some other kid pooped. Nobody said anything about it...it's no wonder RCCL has sick people all the time. My DH looked in the pool with our kids mask and he said there was all kind of junk in that pool...he jumped right out of the pool. He said it was really gross.

Who was the piano player in the Schooner bar? Thanks.

Anton was there on our 6/19 cruise. I was walking through the Schooner, and I thought they had an Elton John CD playing. It turns out it was just Anton at the piano. He's phenomenal.

Were you only using the freshwater pool? I found that the saltwater one was used much less, maybe because people don't like it. The upside is I never saw any diapered kids in it. I couldn't believe that on a ship that holds 2500+ I had the pool to myself.

I gotta say...of all the Royal Caribbean ships.....Enchantment is high up on my list....I have sailed on her many times and every time I go she gets better and better. I can also say I have never had any problems outside of a rather slow internet. My cabin (always a Junior suite) has always been wonderful...the crew is friendly and warm...I do have a few suggestions, however. The dinningroom is great for breakfast...but never order soft boiled eggs on the last morning. For lunch, go ashore or to the Windjammer. For dinner, the dinning room is OK for most. But the food is just that....you could spend the extra and try Chops. But all in all, for the money this is one of the best bargins on the ocean at this point.

i find diapered kids in the pool to be ..............pretty nasty- sorry folks......flame away! :) once you have caught something from swimming in a pool.............stomach flu............you will feel the same! at least keep them in the kiddie pool where they hopefully use massive amounts of chemicals to keep the germs at bay......?

What's to flame? You are absolutely right, and that's why it's against the rules for them to be there.

Shame on RC for not enforcing that commonsense rule!
