Has anyone ever stayed in those 4 solitary cabins on deck six of the Dawn? We're 4 couples sailing 10/29/06 and we were just assigned those 4 cabins. They look kind of lonely out there.........any info? Pictures? advice?

Thanks in advance!

I took a peek at these cabins on my Dawn sailing, but didn't get to see inside the cabins, just the corridor. If I'm thinking about the same area that you're referring to as the vestibule, I don't think you'll be allowed to put chairs there and gather. It's just a corridor and probably shouldn't be blocked.

I have never stayed in one of those rooms but have checked out the area and spoken to several folks who have stayed there had concerns going in but loved the location.

No noise problem - there is only a small exit door from the casino on that side. The bathrooms and back office are between the casino and these cabins.

If you want to be in the middle of things a great location. Traffic in that hall is light most enter the Stardust from the other side. Out the door and up a single flight and you have the biggest balcony - The Promenade Deck

One thing for sure not you average outside cabin down a mile long hallway.

My only concern is they could be expensive - to easy to just stop back in the casino for just a "minute" :D

I had one of those Jr. Suites, pool deck, Norway. If was about 25 steps from my room to the Casino. Came back to the room after a long night and the faint sounds of "kerching" called my name one too many times.

Shoreguy,

Thanks so much for posting! I just knew someone had looked at these four cabins! We are four couples traveling together and when we looked at our location on the deck plans we were kind of surprised to see they were the ONLY cabins on the deck! Now we're ok with it.

As for the casino calling names out in the middle of the night, we only have to worry about Luckyroots' husband! (Right Ruth?!) :D
