jresn02 Posted August 15, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 15, 2006 Do any boats offer Texas Holdem in the casino's like carnival does?
mrgreencard Posted August 15, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 15, 2006 I just got off the Mariner on 8/13 and they had Holdem. It wasn't in the casino. They ran tournaments once or twice a day with buy-ins of $50. They also had some cash games that I believe were $1-$2. I'm not 100% positive as I didn't play but I was told this by some players in the casino after they had busted out.

PhoenixCruiser Posted August 15, 2006 #6 Share Posted August 15, 2006 According to this article, the Jewel offers it :D Thank goodness, otherwise we *probably* would be experiencing some withdrawal issues in October ;) http://www.cruise-casinos.com/CruiseReviews/jewel.htm ###
Bemus Posted August 15, 2006 #7 Share Posted August 15, 2006 I was on the Mariner 7/16 cruise and yes they do have texas holdem but its in the cigar bar next to the savoy theater.. I think.. anyway they do play everyday usually after 6 and the 1-2 dollar games are from about 10-12. The man that runs it is real flexable about the time and the players. Also they have the big tournment on Sat in the casino. Hope this helps answer your questions..:)
LivnLife Posted August 15, 2006 #8 Share Posted August 15, 2006 We were on Soveriegn and they offered it. But with a 10% rake my DH refused to play in it, no real way to make money.
