Hump or Aft

Recommended Posts

Depends on the itinerary and cabin category. We love the hump cabins if you're in the middle of the hump. On the Serenade we had the very end cabin on the hump and the balcony was pretty small. On most ships they are E2's. You have more choice of type of cabin with an aft as you can get a balcony, a D1 or D2 and higher categories like JS.

Haven't had an aft cabin on RCI but did on another line. The view was great but it was a loooooooooon walk to the back of the ship.

For me it depends on the itinerary and which ship. For our Panama cruise an aft was a must for the scenery and going through the canal. For our Bermuda cruise we have a hump. I have never been on RCCL so I wanted to see what all the hoopla was about the hump. But on other lines we have been aft and loved them
