Parking at Miami port?

Recommended Posts

What we do in Miami is drive up to the cruise port building and go right to the place where porters are placing suitcases in big racks. The gates are numbered with one number for each ship.

We unload our big suitcases there. I take my carry on bag and Hubby's and walk to the check-in entrance. Hubby drives the car to the parking gargae and comes back. It never takes him more than ten minutes to get back and then we go to the check in together.

This process has always gone smoothly for us. In fact, it is the same plan we follow in Fort Lauderdale and Cape Canaveral.

I think the parking fee at the Miami cruise port garage is twelve dollars a day. I hope someone will confirm that for me.

Thanks so much for the info. We are a large group from all over meeting in Fort Lauderdale. The question is whether it is better to leave the only car at the airport there and shuttle us all down in a van or have the car people drive to Miami and park there. I'll check airport fees in Lauderdale too. Thanks again!
