lborne Posted August 16, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 16, 2006 I read a tip somewhere that said we should bring our own cups with lids and straw for using at the drink station. Are there no cups, lids, straws provided? My children (3 & 8) are looking forward to the Oceaneers Club and Lab. However, they usually go to sleep around 8:00. We will be taking them to the main seating dinner and then the 8:30 show, and I know that by the end of the show, they will be ready to crash. Are there areas in the Lab and Club where they can sleep? Do they turn down the lights at a certain time? Will there be too many distractions that will keep them awake? We'd love to have them in the cabin sleeping, but Disney does not offer in cabin sitting as far as I know.
greatdanemom Posted August 16, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 16, 2006 There were always cups at the drink station when we were there. I think some people bring their own larger mugs with tops as a convenience. Sorry I can't answer the questions about the Club & Lab. My daughter stuck with me for the entire cruise! Cheryl
Host Mick Posted August 17, 2006 #3 Share Posted August 17, 2006 In the Oceaneer's lab in the evening they will put on a movie, lat out some foam mats and dim the lights. A lot of the little ones will fall asleep. Others that won't sleep will still play in the other rooms. I picked up (literally) my little ones in the club and carried them downstairs to our stateroom. I was very glad that we were on deck 4.
