I've seen men dressed in slacks and a jacket without a tie... with a nice dress shirt... that would be fine. Most people will be very nicely dressed, but not all the men are in tuxes, most are in suits, or a jacket, collarless shirt and slacks.

Really, there's little to no enforcement. Wear what you want but if you're way underdressed, you'll stick out a little bit. Slacks and a button downshirt/cocktail dress are more than enough.

You dont have to do anything for formal night, I didnt just a shirt and jacket, but I wished I had because I realized it would have been fun to have dressed up and enjoyed ourselfs. There are many photo opps and being dressed makes them more special. Take my advise and bring some dress up clothes and enjoy yourself for a few hours.

Papa, please don't type in all caps. It's considered rude and shouting. You might want to check out Cruise Critic's "Fashion Board". All the threads on clothing are eventually shifted over there.:)

Cotton,

I've read some of your posts and I have come to the conclusion that I trust your opinion. I'm debating on whether or not to book a private tour in Jamaica with Marva Shaw.

I was wondering if you ever booked with her .. what you have heard about her. She called me tonight and we chatted briefly. Can I have your opinion on this.

This may sound strange. I'm not holding you to anything. I just think you are so to the point and I didn't know who else to ask.

Thanks

Patsy
