ahoughton Posted August 17, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 17, 2006 We have cruised Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Norwegian, Celebrity and several of the now defunct older cruise lines. We are thinking about Costa. What can we expect as a comparison with the other lines? What is the average age in the fall and winter cruises. Is it more in line with Holland America or Carnival or between? How is the dining, buffets, deserts, entertainment, at sea days activities and service? We have never been on a cruise we didn't love, we are just wanting to know what to expect.

Its very hard to compare line to line.In winter we had average age 40:confused: but belive me older people (over 70) had so much energy that you would think they younger then you(we are 30+):D Costa its a very active line so many activities in pool, bars.Entertainment was very good, but again its depend who is cruise director and his crew.
