When You Order Wine From Gifts & Gear...

Recommended Posts

...to be delivered to your stateroom, do they have wine glasses for you to use?

This may be a silly question, but I noticed that one of the packages included souvenir glasses.

It made me wonder what you would use if you just ordered a bottle of wine or champagne. :confused:

Thanks for your help.

We ordered a bottle of wine and cheese tray from Gifts & Gear to be delivered on embarking night. It came with 2 wine glasses and a cork screw. The were not souvenir glasses, just regular ones.

How was that tray? I am thinking about ordering this but the description is very limited.

Hi Mrsdiznee!

We usually order champagne with chocolate covered strawberries.:D They provide two regular glasses and a pull screw.

I ordered one of the packages with the 'souvenir glasses' included and have to say that I was very disappointed to find that the 'glasses' were plastic (althougth they did have 'Royal Carribean' printed on them)!

Perhaps it was naiive of me to think that they would be real, but the package was not cheap; I was not expecting hand-cut crystal but these were the sort of thing that you might give a 3-year old to take out in the garden so they didn't break your best ones!

You can get unlimited cheese plates from room service for NO extra fee. Just call room service!

My problem is I want the cheese in our cabin for sailaway on the Mariner Sept 3rd...........(we're going to have friends stop by)......room service wont be available that early.......so we'll order the cheese tray thru gifts and gears,I suppose...........

I ordered champagne and strawberries as well. It didn't ask me when it should be delivered. Will it be the first day when we get on? I also ordered decorations and hope they'll be ready when we get on the ship.

Bubble Cruiser;

A full bottle of champagne and Bon Voyage decorations including a small cake were waiting in the cabin upon our arrival. This was was on Vision OTS July 2005. We have already put in our order for Brillance OTS Dec 2006

Enjoy!:D
