KelliKevin Posted August 19, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 19, 2006 How can you go about logging on your past cruises towards your past guest membership benefits? I have been sailing on Carnival since Tropicale and Mardi Gras, etc. but their computers don't go back that far. Has anyone gotten credit for OLD cruises and how did you do it? thanks Kelli
Cotton Posted August 19, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 19, 2006 Believe me, it takes a little effort. None of my earlier cruises were listed, either. They want a certain amount of paperwork as proof, which I didn't have. SO - I finally copied all my boarding photos that showed the date and name of ship, and sent it to them. Call and talk w/someone in the Guest Services Dept. It worked, and now all my cruises are in their system. Next cruise, I'll be PLATINUM status, but it took a bit of work.:)

LHP Posted August 19, 2006 #4 Share Posted August 19, 2006 We had to have 8 cruises added (as old as 1982). In our case, I believe our close relationship with our PVP helped. He knew our "history" just in all our communications. I would start with the Carnival website site. Under "Cruise History" there is a link that allows you to "add" cruises that are missing. They can direct you from there who to contact and what "proof" they will need. We faxed copies of our embarkation pictures and they accepted those. The only cruise we did not have the embarkation picture of was the very first cruise. Believe it or not, we still had a luggage tag from that cruise and they accepted a photocopy of that along with a Kodak picture of hubby standing in front of the ship. If you used a TA, check with them and see what records they still have!! Good Luck!!
rwdtgb Posted August 19, 2006 #5 Share Posted August 19, 2006 I had the same problem and with a few pictures I received credit for the missing cruises, I am now Platinum... Tom
