beach near pier at Tortola?

I noticed from the pictures of Grand Turk that you can just walk off the pier onto the beach, how about Tortola?

Not going to happen. The nearest beach would be on the north shore, up and over the mountains, either Cane Garden Bay or Brewer's Bay, maybe Josiah's.
