silentbob007 Posted August 22, 2006 #3 Share Posted August 22, 2006 Deals a pretty subjective. Prices fluctuate and have different structures based on the week you are sailing. Is it a deal for you?
Doug&Suzy-Q Posted August 22, 2006 #4 Share Posted August 22, 2006 I haven't either. We are going Sept 2007..full price of $947 for balcony 8A... I'm just waiting..I called 1-800 Carnival..they said it's to soon.
lvtotrvl1 Posted August 22, 2006 #5 Share Posted August 22, 2006 This year the summer cruises sold out very quickly. I think the cruiselines will fill their ships at higher rates for the peak periods in 2007. If you think you can afford the price, go ahead and book it and just watch to see if the price drops. tigerdadky Posted August 22, 2006 #6 Share Posted August 22, 2006 Booking an April 07 cruise and my PVP told me there are no deals for 07 yet. They are concentrating on filling 06 cruises now. He told me to go ahead and book and hope for upgrades and maybe even price reductions. Booking tonite for me and my DW and my cousin and his DW. Cant wait, gonna be a long fall and winter anticipating our next cruise.
sme Posted August 22, 2006 #7 Share Posted August 22, 2006 i wouldnt think it is too early to book a Sept 2007 cruise. I booked our December 2007 cruise about 2 months ago. Sad that is is sooooo long away, but at least it is booked!!!
Darcy03231 Posted August 22, 2006 #8 Share Posted August 22, 2006 You're probably too early for the deals. I booked the Destiny for the first week of September 2006 in March 2006. Booked an 8A guaranty for $629/pp. I've kept checking prices and noted that they really didn't go down at all for July and August, other than the last week of August. If you have some flexibility I would wait until the beginning of 2007.
