This year the summer cruises sold out very quickly. I think the cruiselines will fill their ships at higher rates for the peak periods in 2007. If you think you can afford the price, go ahead and book it and just watch to see if the price drops.

Booking an April 07 cruise and my PVP told me there are no deals for 07 yet. They are concentrating on filling 06 cruises now. He told me to go ahead and book and hope for upgrades and maybe even price reductions. Booking tonite for me and my DW and my cousin and his DW. Cant wait, gonna be a long fall and winter anticipating our next cruise.

You're probably too early for the deals. I booked the Destiny for the first week of September 2006 in March 2006. Booked an 8A guaranty for $629/pp. I've kept checking prices and noted that they really didn't go down at all for July and August, other than the last week of August. If you have some flexibility I would wait until the beginning of 2007.
