PineappleGal Posted August 22, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 22, 2006 What are the reasons why you select Carnival, rather than other cruise lines? Post your response if not listed in the poll.

I've been refreshing it so I don't forget what I'm writing and I don't think I have posted it over and over again.
232271 Posted August 22, 2006 #4 Share Posted August 22, 2006 I am doing Carnival because it was cheaper than RCCL for Thanksgiving for us.
MrPete Posted August 22, 2006 #5 Share Posted August 22, 2006 You missed my two favorite reasons. The fun, and stateroom size.

Mud Diver Posted August 22, 2006 #10 Share Posted August 22, 2006 Definitely value, I haven't cruised on any other line so I don't have much to compare it to, but when I read reviews of other lines I feel that I am getting the best vacation for my money by going with Carnival. winewanderer Posted August 22, 2006 #15 Share Posted August 22, 2006 I vote for value, too bad it wasn't on the poll. Now that we are Platinum and have enjoyed those perks, that will keep us coming back.
LHP Posted August 22, 2006 #16 Share Posted August 22, 2006 Karaoke. Where we live there are very limited venues that are safe and clean. On Carnival, I can sing 7 nights a week in a safe (and usually smoke free) environment.

momofzeke Posted August 22, 2006 #18 Share Posted August 22, 2006 My vote was for Cruise Line Itself. The first time we cruised, I chose Carnival because after research, I thought they sounded like the most fun. The value also weighed in on my decision. We had so much fun on that first cruise, I didn't even consider another line for our second cruise! :)
silentbob007 Posted August 22, 2006 #19 Share Posted August 22, 2006 Karaoke.. Funny ... that's the only reason I can think of that would make Carnival ask me not to cruise with them. ;)

CarribbeanTina271 Posted August 22, 2006 #21 Share Posted August 22, 2006 The cruise line itself and I really enjoy booking through my PVP-she is an awesome person and I really enjoying chatting with her-sorry if this sounds silly :) Tina
LHP Posted August 22, 2006 #22 Share Posted August 22, 2006 Funny ... that's the only reason I can think of that would make Carnival ask me not to cruise with them. ;) Now now....your singing can't be that bad. In fact, some of the most entertaining folks couldn't hit a note with both hands..but they have so much energy and fun...you can't help but have fun too!! Mysticks1 Posted August 22, 2006 #24 Share Posted August 22, 2006 Value for me too - You get a lot for your money including all of the choices on the poll.
Vanessa L Posted August 22, 2006 #25 Share Posted August 22, 2006 I agree with others out there; there is no better value than a Carnival cruise. Room size would be 2. The wonderful folks that choose Carnival would be 3 (as opposed to the "butled" crowd--not for me). Room size would be 4.
