Just for fun...What Captain's Club gifts have you received onboard ?

we received a couple of Celebrity notebooks on our previous trip. Also, every night we would either have a bottle of wine, chocolate covered strawberries or fruit sent to our cabin. I thought that was a nice touch by them....

A jewelry box-really nice with "old world maps" and the names of the fleet on it,silver and enamel picture frames, bud vases.

The best perk if not a gift ,was 10% off the Xpedition Galapogos cruise as a CC Elite. That was worth over a grand.

The Captain's CLub only sends stateroom gifts on reunion cruises, regardless of membership level.

The strawberries, etc. mentioned on this thread are part of a group amenity package.

On a reunion cruise I did, all CC members received a picture frame, sports bag. From the Captain's Club representatives onboard I received a document holder and a 14 kt gold bracelet for being the most cruised Celebrity passenger onboard.

We are Elite and we stayed in Millennium's Penthouse Suite & WE GOT NOTHING !!

Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that we frequently travel at Christmas, but in addition to our gifts, our children always got Christmas stockings when returning to the room from dinner on Christmas Eve.

makes sense, I doubt the cost of sending gifts every night to every CC member would be sustainable. Congratulations on the accolade of being the most cruised on board. I have a long way to go to reach that and am contented with the parties and afternoon tea for the time being

On our Captain's Club Reunion Cruise, on Galaxy April 1, 06, we received a gift every night. Some of our favorites were: a faux-leather, sturdy wine carrier w/a bottle of Celebrity Cabernet; two lovely travel diaries; two document-holder type travel wallets; Celebrity pins; tote bags; Celebrity key chain.

On other Celebrity cruises (not reunion) we usually receive blue tote bags and, in CC class, these really sturdy tan tote bags (very large) inside their own snapped carrying case.

That's what I was told onboard however I called Captain's Club and they told me that there should be one gift per cruise for all members on all cruises. She did double check with a supervisor. It also indicates on their website that you receive a "welcome back" gift. On RCL we have always got one gift (actually one for each of us) on each cruise so I just wondered about the difference in how each ship handles it.

In May on Galaxy I received a little box of chocolates on about the 3rd day of the cruise.

Previously they were in the room when I arrived.

I too received them ( Cova chocolates) while sailing on my second X cruise on Mercury.

Were you on a Captain's Club reunion cruise?

No, as mentioned they were Christmas -New Years cruises and the best gifts were on the Millenium(not the ship) 2000 New Year's cruise. I frequently have been a "most frequent cruiser",so that probably has something to do with it,but to this point I was unaware that others didn't get these gifts since I never discussed it with anyone.I assumed it was part of the Elite status.

I've learned here that not all Elite get invitations to the Captain's table. I thought that was an automatic too, since I have been there each time since I became CC Elite. The type of room varied from suite to consierge to simple veranda...That seemed to have little effect. Now I regard myself as very lucky.

Our first Celebrity cruise we received a large beige tote with a smaller bag inside and a Celebrity picture frame. We were then Plantinum with RCCL and now are Diamond. We were in a CC cabin and will be again when we sail in February on the Millennium. And the coupons.

When we sailed with RCCL in March we received a notebook and pen and also a tote bag and towels. As well as coupons and a bottle of wine.

On Princess we are Platinum and usually receive a tote bag (yes, we have lots) a bottle of wine and strawberries one night.

We do not expect the extra's but it makes for a very happy passenger to go that extra mile.

We were on the same April 1, 2006 Galaxy reunion cruise and rec'd all the same items as Jan, plus 2 luggage tags and picture albums. Reunion cruise are nice and they are the only place we've ever got anything except the Tote Bag, I have 4 of them.

On the innaugral cruise of the Infinity, we received a piece of Waterfood Crystal. It was shaped like a chef's hat. It was our first cruise ever. We were really impressed with that gift.
