Passport info after fun pass filled out...

My friend just found her passport and it is not expired as she thought (8 1/2 months left on it). We are sailing in two weeks, the fun pass has already been filled out and we have documents. Should I change her fun pass to passport or just leave it as it is? She'll be bringing both.
