Bedding??

Just an idea which worked GREAT for me..... I actually went out and bought a queen size egg crate. (under $10.00)

Put it in a medium size suit case (actually packed 2 cases of beer and 4 bottle champagne with it - makes for a good cushion - but that is for another thread)

Anyway, when we arrived we put the egg crate on the bed, makes it soooooo much more comfortable... We just leave it when we leave and I give the room steward an extra few bucks to throw it out... But the good part is not only do you have a great way to smuggle liquer on board, and not only do you get a great nights sleep, but you have an extra suitcase for dirty laundry, gifts, etc. With the weight limit at airports this becomes very very helpful.

I am SOOO impressed with your ingenuity! Too bad I didn't read this post before my cruise. I bet homeless shelters have better mattress than EOS has. I asked for a egg crate foam upon boarding (thanks to CC suggestions) & got one that didn't really cover the bed but kept me from falling into a huge indent in the bed. Tried to get one the next a.m. for the pull-out my daughters slept on & was told everyone snatched them up already (tells you something right there how bad the bedding was). Room steward said new bedding should start coming in next month.

New bedding on deck 9. Sailing explorer 9/8.

I sailed on NCL and they have those nice down comforters on their beds at night. Slept like a baby.

UOTE=Plut0]Deck 9 has the new bedding so you are on the right deck.

I will be in a GS on deck 10 for the 9-8-06 sailing of Explorer.

Do ya think it will have the new bedding?

Thanks

Wow a GS that sounds so nice. You would think they would replace the bedding in the suites first.
