JUSTFOURHUBS Posted August 29, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 29, 2006 I will be sailing the Enchantment in about 2 weeks and was wandering what the bedding is like. Does anyone know if the bedding in the "old" section has been replaced? We have an oceanview room if that matters. I read on another thread that someone took an eggcrate mattress topper to use because the bedding was so bad.....is that necessary??? First vacation without the kids so i'm looking forward to some good sleepin'

First vacation without the kids so i'm looking forward to some good sleepin' you can ask for egg crate mattresses either in advance from special_needs@rccl.com or you can get them when you board. The matresses are about 3 inch foam cots actually.. not a bed type mattress.. that will probably change when the new bedding comes at some point and time. I was unlucky and I had the bed with bed bugs.. very bad in cabin 7094, please check your bed for signs of life before unpacking, as I can assure you I was a bug buffet on July 27 sailing..keep in mind that bed bugs are not common but do exist, so check your beds in advance.. Hope you have a wonderful vacation Happy sailing!
Schplinky Posted August 29, 2006 #4 Share Posted August 29, 2006 Also keep in mind that bed bugs are usually brought on bypassengers and are not a reflection of the cleanliness standards of RCL.
