Carnival's Sales

How often does Carnival come out with those "best deal ever" sales. I was looking at taking another cruise and wanted to cash in on the $100 room credit type instead of a room upgrade. If I recall it is once a month but not sure.

Can you book the sale cruises through your TA or do you have to book directly with Carnival? My TA is a friend and I'd hate to go around her and book directly with Carnival. Besides, she always seems to be able iron out the problems that come up occasionaly.

I want to get a good price, but not by cheating her out of a comission.

Well I decided not to wait for a "Super" deal and booked it as I had found the rooms I wanted and didn't want to loose them. I booked a corner aft and the room next to it. It turns out my TA got me $400 off the price, just like a super sale :D
