petguy Posted September 4, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 4, 2006 I'm looking at going on the spirit in November or December what is the water normally like for cruising at that time of the year. Thanks The water? In NY I would imagine quite cold!!! Sorry couldn't resist:p Unfortunately, one never knows until the day you sail...Some have reported wonderfully smooth seas, but othes have reported quite a bit of movement. You are leaving NY City in late fall or early winter so it could be pretty rough. On the other hand we have many beautiful calm clear days with little wind which could make for a smooth trip. Sorry, but I don't believe anyone on here can be more specific.
