We cruised last Dec on the Conquest and I can't for the life of me remember what dispencers were in the shower. Was there shampoo? We really enjoyed the basket of goodies they give us!!

I was just off the Holiday last week and there were no liquid dispeners in the shower as they have been in the past. The holder was there but not bottles of anything. I will be on the Miracle next Sunday, I wonder if they still have the liquid dispeners in the shower. If anyone knows let me know. With the carryon baggage limitations that we have with airlines I could use less weight in my luggage.

The Conquest had Dove brand body wash and shampoo/conditioner combo.

The Inspiration just had them, dove shampoo/conditioner and body wash.

The Valor in July had dove soap and dove shampoo in the dispensers. I used my own conditioner. In the goodie basket, there were his/hers razors, a paperback book, and some mints. There was some other stuff in there too, I just can't remember. I'll try to check it out better next month!

Dove brand huh? Last time we were on the Conquest it was LEVER. Been using LEVER products ever since. Think we'll switch to Dove after next week?!?!

I do remember they gave Olay after shower moisturizer that I just loved and went out and bought some when we got home from our cruise. Well I guess I will find out soon enough what we get, we cruise on the Miracle two weeks from tomorrow!! I just thoguth if they had the dispensers I would not have to bring as much with me!

The Valor had Dove, I think the Pride Last year and the Spirit had Lever. I will check tomorrow what the Pride has, they probably are all switching to Dove.

Just off the Legend, and we had Dove in the dispensers.

 

The complimentary sample basket had mens and women's disposable Bic razors, Crest toothpaste, a few packets of 'Emergen-C' Vitamin C drink crystals, Vaseline Healthy Body Glow moisturizer with self-tanner, and maybe one or two other things.

Terri - I'm just curious. Did you ask your cabin steward about the shower dispenser containers? Maybe he just forgot to put some in your bathroom?

 

On my cruises, the dispensers are always on the shower wall, and the past few cruises they were Dove products. One has a shampoo-conditioner combo, and the other is liquid body wash.

 

I always look forward to the little amenity basket/bowl in the bathroom. Fun to see what little various things are in there, even if they're only samples.:)

In the spa on the Liberty they were giving out Just For Men. The attendant gave me 4 kits for my DH that I had left at home!

It was Dove body wash last December on the Conquest, and yes I switch to it when I got home. :)

No, I did not ask the room steward about the dispensers. I should have, but he seemed to be having a hard time with alot of things. I have never had a room steward that was as bad as the one we had this last time. Don't get me wrong I don't want his job. I could not do his job in a million years, but he was having a hard time himself.

 

No towels for excursions.

Billed us for water we did not drink and when brought to his attention, he go upset.

Gave us mail for the room next door--casino message.

Depends on the ship, some have hairdryers but youhave to hold down the button to make it work. I will always bring my own along with a power strip.

Terri - Sorry you got a mediocre steward. As you know, that doesn't happen often. Only on one cruise did I get so-so service from a cabin steward, so let's just hope there aren't many of them out there.;)

 

CAC - Be patient; sometimes it takes awhile to get replies. And please don't type in all caps - considered rude.:) Hairdryers are not in all cabins, the ones that are, are not very strong. Take your own.

The hair dryer is not that great... you have to hold the button down to make it work anad not very much power. Bring your own and remember a power strip as there's only one plug.:)

The hair dryer isn't great...not much power and you have to hold the button the whole time to get it to work. The dryer is in a drawer. Bring your own and don't forget a power strip...only one plug in room

Just off the Spirit. They provided Dove liquid soap and shampoo/conditioner. Bring your own hair dryer. Theirs is terrible. Also bring power strip and extension cord - there is only one plug in room. Don't depend on certain treats in your bathroom bowl - they differ from time to time. We had razors, toothpaste, vitamins, lotion and a couple of other things - non of which we use - but the thought was nice.
