TheEngineer Posted September 9, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 9, 2006 I just noticed last night when I looked at our C&A cruise credit listing that for some reason, the cruise we took last week is showing as "not qualified" for a cruise credit. We used a C&A coupon on this cruise ($50 total) but it said nothing about voiding our credit. Does this usually take a while to change on RCCL's website or is it customary for them to trick people into using coupons just to take away their cruise credits if they do? If its the latter, they could have just driven us to a new cruise line next time we cruise. Anyone have any experience with this?
wolfcathorse Posted September 9, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 9, 2006 its takes about 2-3 weeks for it to show up. If it doesn't post in 4 weeks then call. Using a coupon doesn't do anything to the cruise credit count. I've used coupns twice and have gotten the correct count each time, about 3 weeks later! In that case, I have to get back to planning our next cruise!
rubrrick Posted September 9, 2006 #4 Share Posted September 9, 2006 We have used a coupon before and it has not affected our cruise credits. Rick
TheEngineer Posted September 13, 2006 Author #5 Share Posted September 13, 2006 Just an update: The credit appeared today, so all is well. I wish they would use a word like "pending" instead of "not qualified" in this situation, but as long as it works out in the end, I don't mind. dougp26364 Posted September 13, 2006 #6 Share Posted September 13, 2006 I think the delay is caused becaus Miami has to receive the information from the ship before it can update your file. Sometimes it seems as if ships only do this once a month. It just depends on if your cruise took place right after their last transmission of passenger information or at the end of the week for your cruise.
