I tried.......

Did you book directly through Carnival? If so I'd call back and talk to someone else. You can talk to whoever you want. If you booked through a TA I'm not sure how that works, if you booked with Carnival I know you can get and OBC-as long as there truly is a price drop between what you paid and the current price. My PVP actually tells me to call every week until sailing to see if there are any new promotions to help with an OBC. Go for it!!!!!

What exactly was your conversation? Not enough details. Was what you saw perhaps a discount on 'new bookings only'? Then it wouldn't apply to you.

And yes, it makes a difference with whom you booked. If you booked through a TA or online agency, Carnival will not "interfere" in your booking - everything must go through your agent.

If you booked through Carnival, call back and ask for a supervisor.

I booked in March 06' for a March 07' cruise, and noticed the price had dropped $50pp. With all their "special Wednesday" sales it stayed that way. I called yesterday and they knocked off the $50pp in a flash.

Keep trying.

Have a great cruise!
