Fort Lauderdale Hotels

Maybe I'm being repetitious here, but I'm looking for a hotel in Lauderdale that lets you leave your car there while on a cruise. I've got family coming from Western Canada, Northern Canada, and Denver for a december cruise. I'm trying to get them to come to Ft Lauderdale at least a day before the cruise, and my wife and I will be driving to Lauderdale. We could all meet at the hotel before the cruise. I would like to leave my car at the hotel and pick it up on the day we get back from the cruise. I'm fairly certain that I've read on these boards about hotels that do offer the parking and also transportation to and from the pier. Any advice would be appreciated. ;)

Hopefully there still are some that let you park while cruising free of charge. I can tell you for sure that Amerisuites, although they used to, no longer offers free parking.

Now, let's hear it from some that knows of one that does before this gets moved to the hotel forum. ;)

Try the East coast departures forum - they seem to be closing down the Hotels forum - you can't even start a thread - The LaQuinta airport, sleep inn are two that offer parking options - they are not free though.
