dmk #1 Posted May 24, 2006 It was suggested by Kelnac that we list our winning bids at hotels. We could list them wih dates and areas. I pasted some answers from another thread so we could start out with summaries from any winning bid from any port.:D Ft Lauderdale Priceline "Winning Bids" Hi Everyone, I thought it may be nice to start a Priceline, Hotwire, or Easyclick winning bid thread. If everyone lists the hotels they are picking up it may be helpful to others. We could use this format?? Date: December 31, 2006 (New Years) Number of nights: 1 (post cruise) Hotel: Westin Fort Lauderdale Rating: 4 star Area: Ft Lauderdale north Site: Priceline Winning Bid: $95 Taxes & Service Fees: $19.17 Maybe every so often we could but together a summary page of dates and winning bids. If this works well we could have a thread for each cruise port. Enjoy! Kel I think it's a great idea.

lallybrock #15 Posted November 18, 2006 I got 3 rooms for 11/23 - 11/26 at the Residence Inn, 2 1/2*, Tampa downtown for $65 each day per room. This hotel has great reviews. All the rooms have a kitchenette and your stay comes with a free extended breakfast. It's a $6 cab ride to the port. Being a Priceline junky, this is the best deal for Tampa if you want to be in the downtown area & not Westshore (Westshore is closer to the airport). Priceline does offer hotels that are 3* in the downtown area but unfortunately there are not that many winning bids. I think maybe because this is a cruise port, they don't have as much problem filling the hotels as other major cities might. Happy Bidding!
