Snorkel Rental At Cinnamon Bay?

SUN TURNIP

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Cinnamon Bay's campgrounds and facilities are closed right now. They usually close for a month during off season to do upgrades, get ready for season etc. While closed the watersports booth & snorkel gear rental booth is also closed as far as I know. They will reopen Oct. 9th.

Trunk Bay has rental gear too and are open as usual.

If you are thinking of doing much snorkeling at all, buy your own. You can get good beginning epuipement at Sam's and other discount stores. Many sites on line also. There are even masks with perscprition lense. . It is really worth while and easier to snorkel with your own gear that is set to fit you. I know it is more to pack , but you can fit it in. The first time you seem to swallow a lot of salt water. It's hard to adjust the mask when you are swimming.Even having your own mask and snorkel can help. I have upgraded my gear a couple of times to a dry snorkel and better mask and fins. I have a crappy heart and can not blow the tube clear so I need it.Snorkeling is one thing I can do as well as anyone.Have fun, fun, fun.
