Overtyme Posted September 15, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 15, 2006 I was wondering if someone could clarify the differences between AA, AB, BA, BB, etc. when it comes to cabins on the Crown (and I guess any other Princess Cruise ships). Phaedra_11 Posted September 15, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 15, 2006 All the cabin categories that start with A (ie. AA) are minisuites. An AA would be in a more desirable location (according to Princess) than AD. All the cabin categories that start with B (ie. BA) are balconies. A BA would be in a more desirable location (accorind to Princess) than BD. Not all ships have the same room categories. This is for the Crown,Grand, Golden, Star, Caribbean Princess. wwinfl91 Posted September 15, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 15, 2006 On the Grand class ships the balconies are bigger and half covered half open on the Caribe deck which are mainly BA and BB. The balconies on most of the mini-suites are actually smaller than the BA and BB balcony cabins but the interior cabins of the mini-suites are bigger. Also the balconies on the minis on the Dolphin deck are totally open. Check out the plans on the Princess site at this link (hopefully). http://www.princess.com/ships/np/deck/np_caribe_index.html Have a great next cruise.
