John & Kelly Posted September 17, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 17, 2006 Hello to All!! We are considering the Crown 3/17 sailing but wanted to get some other opinions as to whether this sailing would likely contain more than an average number of younger passengers due to Spring Break. We're in our late 30's and early 40's who love to have a great time but we are looking to avoid groups of Spring Breakers---- No offense meant! We have just taken many Feb and March vacations where our trip has been hindered by the level of "fun" some others around us are having. Thanks!!!! whenistrivia Posted September 17, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 17, 2006 Hi, John & Kelly.. We're booked on the Crown's March 10th sailing.. we thought about the same thing that you're concerned about, but decided that it was a good time to go, even if there is a group of "spring breakers" onboard. We're in our 50's, and have been on cruises in the late September/October time frame where the average age of the passengers put in in the "younger" category. There's something to be said for having a good balance of age groups among the cruisers.. tends to keep you in a younger frame of mind. I say if the timing works out for you, go for it, and enjoy yourselves. If you decide on the March 10th sailing, come on over to the roll call boards.. I started a thread for that sailing a while back. Gary
willysgrandma Posted September 17, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 17, 2006 You might. We've learned to cruise between September and December after having a bad experience on a June cruise.
