sandyneck Posted September 17, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 17, 2006 Hi, my 10/2 cruise on POH is showing up as sold out. I'm a little concerned with all the problems with staff shortages, etc. Does anyone know if they are selling all cabins on the ship, and if so, has anyone had an experience on a sold out cruise? Thanks for any encouragement!

kapoho2 Posted September 17, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 17, 2006 We are also on the POH on the 10/02 sailing. I just checked NCL's website and they are showing availability in just about every cabin category. It does not quite look sold out to me!
Cruise Too Little Posted September 17, 2006 #4 Share Posted September 17, 2006 How do you find out what is sold on the website? I keep asking after seeing posts like these, but no one tells me. Help!!!
mbmam2 Posted September 17, 2006 #5 Share Posted September 17, 2006 We were on the 8/7 sailing and they said it was sold out. No way to really tell, but the ship is built to handle the 2400 plus passengers. Do a search on my name and find my review. It is not posted in the review section yet. I do not think any of the issues were because it was sold out, just growing pains. The real issue is dining and when it is full that makes it a little worse. With proper planning and dining reservations for the week you can overcome that issue. Book your excursions in advance, plan your week, board as early as possible and make your dinner reservations right away. Then you will have no problem no matter how many people are on board. I gues if you like to sit by the pool on the few days when the ship is at sea, go early to get the best chairs. Have a great cruise. It is a beautiful ship and the itinerary is fantastic. sandyneck Posted September 18, 2006 Author #6 Share Posted September 18, 2006 kapoho2, Sorry, I posted the date I get to Hawaii not my cruise date. My cruise is the 9th. You are correct, the 2nd has plenty of availabiltiy, it is the 9th that is sold out. Sorry for the confusion
sandyneck Posted September 18, 2006 Author #7 Share Posted September 18, 2006 Cruise too Little, Just enter the dates on the website and if the cruise does not show up, it means it is sold out. Sometimes they will show cabins available, but when you click on them, it will say not available.
