Feedback for 1st timers on Princess

We are planning to go on a cruise with several other couples next Sept. (one couple has cruised before the other two have not). We are considering the Caribbean Princess. We have sailed several times on RCI and once on Celebrity but never on Princess. We would really like to try Princess Cruise Line. Can anyone give me some good feedback on the Caribbean Princess and maybe some comparison to the Voyager class ships on RCI. Thanks!

Also, near the top of the Princess page here is a sticky thread about FAQs about Princess cruise lines and ship. That has lots of good stuff in it.

Hi, our first cruise was the Explorer and of course it was pretty amazing! We have also done Norwegian and Princess. We will be on the CB soon and can let your know more about that particular ship later. We really loved the Star Princess and chose Princess again for this year! The deciding factors were many..what would you like to know?
