question on deck catagory

Hello, Well we are ready to book our reservations this week on the Amalegro May 30-June 10 Prague to Budapest We have cabin C229 on hold, this room is located at the very back of the boat ...Does it matter the location on a river boat? Any suggestions ....:) Thanks...

Can´t say it for sure. You´re on the middle deck but quite close to the engine room on the deck below you. On the middle deck you won´t face any noise problems caused by the thrusters. But as you´re still close to the engine room you might feel more vibrations and maybe noise from the engines. Depends on the isolation of the cabins and the cabin floors. Vibrations usually are not the big problem. Let´s say it like this you´re fine midships and there must be a reason why the last two cabins on this deck do have another price category.

Steamboats, Thank you for your input and I will be calling the travel agent this morning with quite a few questions. Also last year at this time we sailed on the Celebrity Mellinnium to the Med(Barcelona to Venice just fabulous. We had been in contact with many cruise critic passengers and we organized ship excurisions etc. The cruise critc connection really made our trip extra special. This cruise was very intensive(we are very active) my husband worries about being bored... Thanks again...Ann:rolleyes:
