grammyofjess Posted September 20, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 20, 2006 Sailing in March on the Star and we have cabin 11562. Anyone give me any idea of the rooms, what they're like and how noisey they are in that location?
Cweber584 Posted September 20, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 20, 2006 We sailed on the Star to Alaska and had room 11572. Yours should be the same as ours, since it's close. There were two of us in the room and the room was adequate sized for us. I know that it is a bit smaller than other cruise lines, but this didn't really factor in for us. The bathroom has a separate door for the toilet / shower area. The toilet area is tight - much like an airplane bathroom. Again, that really wasn't a factor for us. As for noise, we never experienced any noise problems at all. The room staff for our room was wonderul - very friendly and efficient. We loved having the balcony. You won't regret it. We could sit on the little sofa or the bed and see outside until we decided we wanted to sit on the balcony (Alaska - sometimes we had to keep warm inside!) Have fun on your cruise! margaritagal Posted September 20, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 20, 2006 We were in 11556 on the Star in Jan. 2006. We had enough room to store the luggage & put everything away. It got a little 'cluttered' toward the end of the week but that was OUR fault! :p
