transport from Tampa to port Canveral

Hi I'm not sure about transport co's, but I imagine your best route would be a bus service to Orlando from Tampa, then from ORlando to Canaveral. I've done that drive several times as I have friends/family in both cities, and it's about a 2-2 1/2 hr drive, so a limo or taxi-van could be really pricey.

You could check minivan rentals! Thy seat 7-8 people generally per van so you could probably get by with 2. Just a thought! :)

gnocchi is correct--you're better off renting a van. Avis has a passenger van available (holds 12) and you can drop it off at Port Canaveral. It's probably the least expensive way to get all of you to the port.

where would you put luggage for 12 people? That's a lot of luggage. We had a mini van with 7 people and still had to cram the luggage in.

I think the money you save flying into Tampa is going to be negated with transportation from Tampa to Port Canaveral.

Good Luck whichever mode of transportation you decide on.

concur - what you save flying to Tampa you are gonna spend getting to Port Can'

If you try a 12 pax van, you'll need a second van for luggage.
