TSA Relaxes Carry-On Rules (just a bit)

Thanks for the link. There's another thread a little lower down on the thread listing about this topic that people may wish to look at in addition to this one.

I always have brought our toilet articles/my cosmetics in our carryons to be sure we had basic necessities with us if the airline 'misdirected' our luggage.

I'm happy we will now be able to bring small sizes of some of those things with us.......just in case.

Of course, we shall be fastidious about following the rules.

Just in time as we are headed out to the west coast tomorrow. Staying with a freind for a couple of nights and then we are all embarking the Westerdam in Long Beach on Thursday. Although my mom has already packed according to the liquids ban she is just going to leave everything the way she already has it. I had already started to pack things in that direction also.

The link doesn't say anything about my Hibachi bbq or my George Foreman grill, so I guess we can still bring them on with us! Sure makes our time onboard a cruise ship feel a lot more like home. :D Of course, DH can't bring along his tools - saws, crowbars, etc., but he's just going to have to deal with it.

Smooth Sailing ! :) :) :)
