Recommended Posts

DW and I are taking the same in Nov. Your kindness in posting the pics and commentary answered amny of our questions. Now, by following your progress I got the impression this 9-nt cruise went by quickly - I wonder how quickly the real thing will go! Thank you and all on this thread for a great virtual cruise. BTW: I vote bonine.

Radio,

Your posts and pictures have been wonderful. Thanks for bringing them to us live. I must say, however, your last post was rather sad. I know it's hard to depart ship after a wonderful cruise.

How fast/slow did you find the internet connection? My son wants to keep in touch with his girlfriend and wants to know which plan to purchase.

42 days until the Grandeur!

We have enjoyed all of your "Live from the Grandeur" cruises.

When, and on what ship, will you be cruising and reporting again?:)

Thanks for the nice comments.... I also did a "Live" from the Jewel of the Seas, "Live" Explorer of the Seas, and "Live" Century this year... Just click below.

My next cruise should be in January '07...I'm not sure what ship or Itinerary, but I am thinking about the Freedom of the Seas, or Mariner of the Seas, or Rhapsody of the Seas.....

I personally hope you will choose the Freedom of the Seas. By then they should have all of the little wrinkles ironed out and I know you will give us the best pictures yet of this magnificent new ship.:)

Ok this is the most important question of all... The answer will help me figure out how much weight I will gain on my cruise!

Did you notice if they still served Coconut Ranger cookies on the dessert buffet in the Windjammer!? Those are the best cookies in the world!!! :D

For dinner there is always the same meals that are served in the dining room, except Lobster. There was always some foreign specialties as well.

For lunch , there were normal Cruise Lunch entree's,. Most days included Mexican food as well.

I never had dinner in the Windjammer (on this cruise), but have had dinner in the Windjammer many times on Grandeur, Explorer, Jewel, Voyager.

The Solarium Cafe had hot dogs, cheesburgers, fruit and pizza.

Hey Radio:

Welcome Home!!

Thanks for all the wonderful pictures and great information from your cruise.

Thought about you yesterday as we were going up 95 on our way to the Renaissance Festival. There on our left was the beautiful Grandeur in all her glory. It was a nice site to see, in person, after the last 9 days of your "virtual" tour.

I have one small question -- you said to take the laptop. How much is the daily rate to be able to go online.

Thanks in advance.
