hblackmon Posted September 29, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 29, 2006 We are flying out this afternoon for New York for our cruise on the Crown Princess tomorrow. What time does boarding open for the Crown Princess out of the Red Hook Terminal? We usually like to board the ship early, before everyone starts to get there. Thanks for your help! chrysalis Posted September 29, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 29, 2006 it should say right on your tickets, but I am sure that past cruisers of the Crown will pipe in a answer.
cheeky1414 Posted September 29, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 29, 2006 We were just on the 9/12 sailing and had a GREAT time! :D Wish we were going again! We arrived at the cruise terminal at 11:30 and checked in within 15 minutes. We sat in the waiting room for 15 mins until they started calling us by numbers at Noon. We were in our cabin by 12:30. The entire process was painless and we were very impressed. We were group #13 to board, so there were people who had arrived earlier, but they didn't start the actual boarding process till Noon. Hope that helps! HINT: Don't forget to check out the International Cafe - 5th deck - midship - great sandwiches, salads, and desserts - all FREE! (except a few specialty items like chocolate dipped strawberries). Hope you have a great cruise! Rob Niagara Falls, Canada

jturner901 Posted September 29, 2006 #5 Share Posted September 29, 2006 We were right behind Rob with #14. We had lunch, explored and were totally unpacked by 2:30.
hblackmon Posted September 29, 2006 Author #6 Share Posted September 29, 2006 Thanks! I know on Royal Caribbean, we always started boarding earlier than it said on the ticket, so that's why I asked. It sounds like 11:30 is a good time to arrive - thanks!! :)
