sswitenki Posted October 1, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 1, 2006 Is it possible to confirm a return flight from the ship and print boarding passes? Typical instructions are to do this within 24 hours to confirm a flight. We will be in a Deluxe Verandah Suite. Can the consierge do this for us? I don't want to get on the internet if I don't have to. Before I know it, I will spend hours wading through mail that I don't want to see or read. Any advice? Krazy Kruizers Posted October 1, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 1, 2006 I have never heard of a concierge doing that for anyone -- but I could be wrong. Not certain if they are allowed to do that.

cool change Posted October 1, 2006 #4 Share Posted October 1, 2006 We have used a cell phone when we get near the port. Therefore, we can usually call early morning before flight. On one occasion we had TA do it for us. I dont know how you can print tickets without getting on-line. We can confirm by phone but have to pick up tickets at airport if we dont get them using email. boards Posted October 1, 2006 #5 Share Posted October 1, 2006 We have never confirmed from the ship we are cruising on. I have no idea how it would be possible. We have not yet had a problem with our flights home from a cruise.
griswalds Posted October 1, 2006 #6 Share Posted October 1, 2006 On most airlines you can do this through their website usually 24 hours in advance on the internet. If the ships internet is working, there should be no problemo. We have not had the luxury of a concierge calls so I can't help you there. If you can't access the printer then at least check on your flight and confirm it's status. Been there done that. grannynurse Posted October 1, 2006 #7 Share Posted October 1, 2006 I've printed boarding passes from the ship. This time we didn't have to as i did it from the hotel we were in post cruise. I don't see why you couldn't ask the concierge to do it for you. I would have if we were flying directly home from the ship. GN
bobpatj Posted October 1, 2006 #8 Share Posted October 1, 2006 When we've flown Continental, we've received an e-mail saying that we can print our boarding passes, the day before our flight home. We've done this on the ship, using our last day minutes. I don't think we've been able to do it with any other airline.
bepsf Posted October 1, 2006 #9 Share Posted October 1, 2006 Non-issue. Flights aren't cancelled or delayed arbitrarily, and if you ever would need to rebook, you're better off being at the airport in person... ...and boarding passes are still provided when one checks-in at the airport.
Krazy Kruizers Posted October 1, 2006 #10 Share Posted October 1, 2006 We always stay over a day or two at the end of the cruise, therefore have never asked the concierge to do this for us. We have our hotel run off the boarding passes for us.
duck tune Posted October 2, 2006 #11 Share Posted October 2, 2006 I've printed off boarding passes for Southwest on the ship only because they don't assign seats and we like to get on in the A group but I did it via the Internet. I guess you could ask at the Neptune Lounge and see if you could have it done for you or you could simply pay for a few minutes of internet time to do it yourself. If you fly on an airline that does assign seats I'd just wait until you get to the airport. Enjoy your cruise!
