Has anyone ever gotten the tiles for the ship they were ON at the time? We always have gotten ones from a previous incarnation of the name: Noordam III when we were on IV, for example.

Yes. The Rotterdam in 1969 etc...:D

Yes we have: Amsterdam III, Maasdam V, Oosterdam I, Prinsendam II, Ryndam III, and Zaandam III - If you book a cruise on Oosterdam, chances are pretty darn good that you will receive a likeness of the current ship since there's only ever been one Oosterdam in HAL's history, the current one built in 2003 (there's at least two diferent tiles of Oosterdam I in circulation), Good luck in collecting!

We have received some of both. Most recently we received two tiles of the current Zaandam on the Alaska cruise.

I'm sorry to hear the new tiles will not have the ships on them. That seems to me to be the charm of them.
