Hello,

Just booked 2 " Hump" cabin's on the Lirberty for October 6th, 2007 cruise. They are cabin #6338 and #6334. Are these cabins any different than other E2's? Thanks....................................David.......................

no difference at all...the hallway is even bowed out...same size rooms just pushed out a little along with the hallway...once out on the balcony you can only see to one end of the ship...unless you a right in the middle of the hump...we have always been on the far sides of it...no big deal...

Our last three cruises have been in cabins on the extreme hump and we love them. We do not feel the balcony is enough larger to notice nor is the cabin BUT the convenience to the elevators and stairs is unmatched!! We always stay on deck 6 so not only is it convenient for elevators/stairs, it is convenient to the promenade and dining rooms. The view is awesome being able to see the entire ship from front to back. This cannot be done on any hump cabins besides those that are on the extreme hump.

You cannot go wrong with any cabin though whether it is in the hump or not. The cruise is the important thing.

All of the cabins are pre-fab and slid into place on the ship. Just because the hull bows out (or humps) doesn't mean that the walls of the room do the same! Each cabin of a catagory are pretty much identical! (There are a few exceptions in the very forward portion of the ship)

These cabins are hump cabins because they are ONLY for "humping"! :o ;) You cannot book these rooms unless you guarantee to only use them for such purposes.

Thanks everyone for the info. Cabin #6338 is right in the middle and #6334 is one away towards the front. Sounds like a good choice. Can't wait to cruise!!

Hey Artist,

Are you really an artist?, If you are me too, not too many of us around.

That's exactly why we love the hump as well. It's so convienent to everything, especially deck 6.

I have my own company doing custom miniatures like toy soldiers and figurines. I am currently working on my third diorama for the Smithsonian. I love working in watercolors but don't have the time. Do you have a website I would love to see your work.

Sue L........sorry no website.....but my style could be compared to Kinkaid..(spelling?)......I give most of my paintings away for holidays, birthdays. etc. It's a nice hobby that keeps me busy during the winter, I usually take the summer off from painting.

They is really no different from another E2. If you have the middle of the hump cabins, the balcony is the same size as a regular E2

Here is why I book them.

For the view. We book the center of the hump, a normal size balcony. You can see from the front of the ship to the rear.

The privacy. No one can see into your balcony because you are sticking out further from the ship than all the other cabins.

The great location. Right near the elevators, but you hear no noise.

There is no noise from the stairs, the Centrum, or the elevators.

To be able to see straight down to the water because you are actually sticking out over it.

You will love it in the middle.

Thanks Alexis for the good info! ............The more good things I here...the more I like!!

You are going to love it. I just got off two great weeks on the Navigator, middle of the hump. I book my cruises 15 months out just to get those cabins. :D

We had the hump GS cabin on Brilliance. It is right next to the RS. The room was a tad bigger but what was nice was that the balcony door was made up of two big sliders and when both were opened it was really cool. The balcony itself was bigger but not like a crazy amount.
