Curacao shopping

There is usually a complimentary shuttle bus, or you can walk to the ferry to get across to shopping. The ferry was free last time we visited, but a bit nasty looking and dark inside. It was the signs that said "Ferry use is at your own risk" that kind of made me a bit uncomfortable.

There is plenty of shoping within walking distance.

If you are docked in town, you will just leave the ship, cross the floating bridge and you are in the heart of the main Punda (downtown) district

If you are at the Mega Pier, there will be a few tables set up right there, and you are just a short walk along the waterfront to much more.

Many stalls along the walkway have the best prices anywhere for tropical "stuff" - ie hats, bags, fabric coverups, beach towels.

There are plenty of taxis available, however, if you prefer to take one into town, just a few dollars, as I recall.

Key to remember about Curacao- there is always a breeze, so if it i hot, just pause a moment, and you are cooled off and ready to shop some more!
