Dress code for children on Sun

What is the dress code for children on the Sun in the dining rooms? Will they allow nice dress shorts for my 7 yo?

Same as adults for a 7 yo. Bring a couple pairs of "dockers for dinner" They can change right after saving the pants for another night. ;)

I believe that the dress code in the dining rooms is the same for children and adults.

My kids are now 12 and 8. They have been on 3 NCL cruises. My son wears pants and a nice shirt for dinner and my daughter wears a dress when they eat in the dining rooms and the speciality restaurants.

They really do not mind dressing up. For us, it is really the same when we are home and go out to eat.

They sometimes want to change after dinner when they go to the Kids Crew. This is fine since they may be running around and playing games.

Have fun!
