Kendallkat2 Posted October 9, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 9, 2006 Hi Princess experts, We are thinking about taking a cruise on the Caribbean Princess. We love staying in Mini-suites but do not like the open balconies. I would rather stay in a regular balconey then have a open balconey again. Our last cruise was on the Star with in a Mini-suite midship and hardly used the balconey at all. Numerous times I would be sitting out in my balcony look up and would see eyes peering down on me. So my question is what deck or category would have a covered balconey. I know on the Star, Grand or Golden it's the Emerald deck. We had a wonderful room on the Golden on Emerald deck which we loved. It was covered! Thanks in advance, Beth
spongerob Posted October 9, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 9, 2006 Emerald deck will do the trick.
Cruzman Posted October 9, 2006 #3 Share Posted October 9, 2006 Emerald Deck aft; six mini suites on each side have covered balconies. Best bet is E730 or E731; they each have balconies that are about double the size of the others. I'm booked in one of them for Thanksgiving 2007. I assume that these are the cabin numbers for the Caribbean Princess. I just wanted to point out that the numbers are different on some ships. We have E730 booked for January 2007 on the Crown Princess.
