"Queen Mary 2 Spends the Day in Scotland" (news)

Recommended Posts

Here's a link to coverage of QM2 at Edinburgh. Don't miss the video (scroll to lower right) which throws in a nice bit of Scottish pride o' the Clyde* for the first Queen Mary -- along with some fun accents to decipher. :)

We had a great view of the QM2 yesterday as she was parked just at the bottom of our street.

Hundreds of people turned up to have a look at such a great ship. Believe it was the same at most vantage points along the Forth.

Actually, I didn't have much trouble deciphering the accents, even the American ones.

Me neither....and did you notice that the first thing the gentleman with the non-Scottish accent said.......'Its wonderful, you can eat all day long, all night long'.....

LOL...I agree, the American english was just as difficult to understand.

"Decipher" wasn't the best word; "enjoy" would have been better.
